Revs. Bob & Mary Holland bring a unique blend of education and experience to the leadership of New Beginnings Int'l Training Center. Following his own troubled youth, Bob received the Lord and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit at the age of 31. A Journeyman Bricklayer by trade, he found himself shortly afterwards on a construction work team to Jamaica, where God spoke to him about his future as a career missionary. He graduated from and later taught at Shiloh Training Institute, Hamilton, Montana. After moving back to Jamaica in 1984 and working with a national pastor, Bob saw the need for residential care for street boys. He launched NBITC in late 1986.

Mary received her B.S. in Management, Housing, and Family Development from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, VA. Following graduation she moved to Lancaster, PA. where she worked in hospital social work. She also developed the social work program for House of His Creation, group homes for pregnant adolescents. Mary received her M.S.W. in Urban Family from the University of Pennsylvania. After several short term mission trips to a boys home in Haiti, Mary, too, saw the need for residential care for children in developing countries.
Bob and Mary married and moved to Golden Grove, Hanover, Jamaica in 1988. Together Bob and Mary operated a boys' home that served hundreds of children at risk for over 20 years. For the past ten years they have focused on serving the community at large through summer school programs, after school reading classes, test preparations, and multiple support activities, i.e. homework assistance, internet resources, etc. The current programs are detailed on the project page.
